ACS Courier API
Ta treść nie jest jeszcze dostępna w Twoim języku.
Globe Pickup Points integrates with ACS Courier (Greece and Cyprus) through the ACS REST API. With this integration, you can:
- Export orders to ACS directly from Shopify, as ACS vouchers
- Print shipping labels within Shopify, on ACS’s thermal label or on ACS’s A4 sheet of three
- Ship to addresses in Greece and Cyprus
- Ship to ACS stores and ACS Smartpoint lockers
- Collect cash on delivery in EUR, in cash
- Track parcels on ACS’s tracking page
Enabling ACS API integration
Section titled “Enabling ACS API integration”You need your own ACS contract: the API key for ACS’s web services, the web services credentials ACS sends with it (Company ID, company password, User ID and user password) and your ACS billing code. ACS Greece issues them for a Greek billing code, ACS Cyprus for a Cypriot one. See Billing code and routes.
- In your Shopify admin, open Globe Pickup Points and navigate to Shipping labels. Click Add carrier and select ACS Courier.
- Enter the API key ACS gave you for its web services.
- Enter the web services credentials: Company ID, Company password, User ID and User password.
- Enter your Billing code, your ACS billing (customer) code, for example
2ΑΘ123456or2NC831234. ACS charges the shipping to it. - Select Billing code from: ACS Greece (parcels from Greece) or ACS Cyprus (parcels from Cyprus), the ACS company your billing code is with.
- Optionally, enter the Cost center of your billing code, if ACS set one up for you.
- Enter the Sender name, printed on every label. Up to 50 characters, in Greek or Latin letters. ACS prints the sender address it has for your billing code.
- If you ship from Greece to Cyprus, select the Content type for Cyprus. With Other (description below), also fill in the Default content description. See Parcels from Greece to Cyprus.
- Optionally, click Show advanced settings and set the Default weight (kg), used when an order has no weight.
- Configure fulfillment and tagging options as needed:
- Automatically fulfill orders: Never, Yes, send order shipped email with the tracking number or Yes, do not send order shipped email. When enabled, the order is fulfilled after export with the voucher number, ACS as the carrier and a link to ACS’s tracking page.
- Automatically tag orders with tracking number adds the voucher number as an order tag.
- Custom tag after export adds your own tag after every successful export.
- Map your Shopify shipping methods to an ACS product. The mapping is optional. You can change the product for each order when you create the label.
Globe works with your live ACS account: every export creates a real voucher with your billing code. ACS does not charge a voucher it never picks up and never scans.
Billing code and routes
Section titled “Billing code and routes”The billing code decides where your parcels start: ACS prints the sender address it has for the code.
| Billing code from | Parcels |
|---|---|
| ACS Greece (parcels from Greece) | From Greece to Greece and to Cyprus |
| ACS Cyprus (parcels from Cyprus) | From Cyprus to Cyprus and to Greece |
Parcels from Greece need an ACS Greece billing code, also when they go to Cyprus. Greek merchants get it with a corporate customer code from ACS Greece.
An ACS Greece billing code carries Greek letters, for example 2ΑΘ123456. If Billing code from says ACS Cyprus and the code has Greek letters, Globe does not export and asks you to set Billing code from to ACS Greece.
ACS delivers in Greece and Cyprus only. An order to another country is not exported.
Products
Section titled “Products”| Product in Globe | Delivery |
|---|---|
| ACS (ACS store or Smartpoint if selected, otherwise address) | To the ACS store or ACS Smartpoint the customer picked in checkout, otherwise to the address. Also used when no product is set. |
| ACS store or Smartpoint (pickup point required) | To the ACS store or ACS Smartpoint on the order. An order without one is refused. |
| ACS delivery to the address | To the address, also when the order has a pickup point. |
At the address, the ACS store that serves the postcode delivers. To an ACS store in Greece, Globe books store pickup. To an ACS store in Cyprus, Globe books door to point delivery, as ACS Cyprus does not take store pickup.
Exporting and printing labels
Section titled “Exporting and printing labels”You can export orders to ACS and print shipping labels directly from Shopify, either in bulk or individually. For the label workflow itself, see Creating shipping labels.
Exporting an order creates one ACS voucher for one parcel, charged to your billing code. The voucher number is the tracking number and the label’s barcode. Parcels are tracked at https://www.acscourier.net/en/track-and-trace/?p=<voucher number>. The Shopify order name is sent as the voucher’s reference.
Globe fetches the thermal label right after the voucher is created and stores it, so the label stays printable in Globe after the day’s pickup list closes the voucher at ACS.
The recipient
Section titled “The recipient”- Name: the name on the shipping address, and the company when the address has both. ACS takes Greek and Latin letters only. Globe drops accents and turns other characters into spaces. An order whose name has no Greek or Latin letters is not exported.
- Address: Globe splits address line 1 into the street and the house number, for example
Πανεπιστημίου 10,P. Ralli 45Aor10 Ermou. Address line 2 goes to ACS’s floor field. - Postcode: 5 digits in Greece, 4 in Cyprus.
177 78works. - Phone: required. A Greek number (mobiles start with 69, landlines with 2, 10 digits) or a Cypriot number (mobiles start with 9, landlines with 2, 8 digits), with or without
+30or+357. A number with another country’s prefix goes as a mobile number. ACS texts mobiles. - E-mail: sent when the order has one, up to 100 characters.
For an order to an ACS store or Smartpoint without a street, postcode or city of that country, the point’s address stands in.
Weight
Section titled “Weight”The parcel weight comes from the order. If the order has no weight, the Default weight (kg) is used. If neither is set, the order is not exported. ACS takes 0.5 to 999 kg per parcel. Globe declares a lighter parcel as 0.5 kg.
Pickup date and the pickup list
Section titled “Pickup date and the pickup list”Globe sends today’s date in Athens time (Cyprus keeps the same time) as the pickup date, and Monday’s for an order exported on a Sunday. If ACS refuses the date as a public holiday, an export from the label panel or from Shopify Flow tries the next days, never a Sunday.
A voucher becomes a shipment only with the day’s pickup list. You issue and print the pickup list in ACS Web Business Tools: it closes every printed voucher of the day, and the courier scans its barcode. Globe does not issue it.
Until a voucher is on a pickup list, you can delete it in ACS Web Business Tools. Globe does not delete ACS vouchers. Creating the label for the same order again creates a second voucher; delete the one you do not need. Only a voucher Globe could not save is deleted at ACS by Globe.
Batches
Section titled “Batches”Globe sends the orders of a batch one after another. If Globe cannot tell whether ACS created a voucher, for example because ACS did not answer in time, the error asks you to check ACS Web Business Tools before you create the label again. Globe then stops before the next order of the batch. The orders it did not send can be exported again safely. If ACS refuses the API key, the Company ID, User ID or passwords, or the billing code, the remaining orders of the batch fail without another call.
The integration does not sync delivery statuses back to Shopify.
Pickup points
Section titled “Pickup points”The customer selects the ACS store or ACS Smartpoint at checkout from the ACS pickup point provider; to offer ACS points, see Adding pickup point carriers. The order carries ACS’s code of the point, for example 5244. Globe looks the code up in ACS’s list of stores and Smartpoints and sends the point’s store and branch.
- A point code ACS no longer lists is refused. ACS does not check the point itself, so Globe never guesses one.
- An order with a point from another carrier’s network is not exported. It is never shipped to the customer’s address instead. Choose an ACS point with the Modify pickup point action, or use ACS delivery to the address.
- An ACS point without its point code on the order is refused the same way. Choose it again with the Modify pickup point action.
- Points must be in Greece or Cyprus.
ACS Smartpoint lockers
Section titled “ACS Smartpoint lockers”- One parcel per voucher. Globe always sends one.
- A mobile number is required: ACS texts the Smartpoint code to the recipient’s mobile.
- Cash on delivery works only at Smartpoints that ACS lists with cash on delivery, and only when the order has the customer’s e-mail address. See Cash on delivery (COD).
Cash on delivery (COD)
Section titled “Cash on delivery (COD)”ACS collects cash on delivery in EUR only, paid in cash. Globe sends the COD amount from the label panel. See Cash on delivery.
| Route | Most ACS collects in cash |
|---|---|
| Within Cyprus, with an ACS Cyprus billing code | 2,000 € per parcel |
| Every other route | 1,500 € per parcel |
- Cash on delivery works at the address, at an ACS store and at the Smartpoints ACS lists with it.
- At a Smartpoint, ACS needs the customer’s e-mail address. An order without one is not exported.
- At a Smartpoint without cash on delivery, choose another point with the Modify pickup point action, or set the COD amount to 0 if the order is already paid.
- An order with a COD amount in a currency other than EUR, or above the limit, is not exported. Globe flags it before export.
Parcels from Greece to Cyprus
Section titled “Parcels from Greece to Cyprus”Parcels from Greece to Cyprus need the content type, for Cyprus customs. Select it in Content type for Cyprus: Spare parts, Books, Vitamins, parapharmaceuticals, Decoration items, Beauty items, Electronics, Cosmetics, Mobile phones, Costume jewellery, Dry food, Optical goods, Toys and games, Personal items, Clothing, Shoes, Pharmaceuticals, Documents, securities or Other (description below).
Without it, an order from an ACS Greece billing code to Cyprus is not exported. Globe sends the content type with every parcel to Cyprus when it is set.
With Other (description below), ACS also needs a description of the content. Globe sends the order’s own content description if it has one, otherwise the Default content description, for example Kitchen utensils. Up to 100 characters, in Greek or Latin letters.
Label printing
Section titled “Label printing”ACS labels can be printed in the following formats:
| Format | Labels |
|---|---|
| Label printer, ACS thermal label (10.6x16.9 cm) | ACS’s thermal label, for ACS’s 10.6 × 16.9 cm label stock: one 100 × 169 mm page per voucher, turned upright, not scaled. |
| A4, three labels per page (ACS sheet) | ACS’s own A4 sheet with three labels, laid out by ACS |
When printing on A4, you can select the starting position on the first sheet (positions 1 to 3) to reuse partially used sheets.
For the thermal label, Globe prints the copy it stored at export, and asks ACS for any label it has not stored. For A4, Globe asks ACS each time you print. ACS prints a voucher only until the day’s pickup list closes it; after that, Globe adds the stored thermal labels of such vouchers on sheets of their own, four to an A4 page.
Labels for several orders come as one PDF, in the order you selected them. If ACS does not hand out some labels, Globe prints the others and names the missing voucher numbers.
