Maersk PUDO
Ce contenu n’est pas encore disponible dans votre langue.
Use Maersk as a pickup point carrier when your warehouse or 3PL ships pickup parcels with Maersk E-Delivery, for example through nShift with the service MAESPUDO. Maersk needs its own pickup point code on the shipment, such as MSKDK9aa5a294bc37. The ID of the local carrier (a Bring or Hermes point ID) is not accepted, and the label can’t be printed.
Maersk has no pickup network of its own. Every Maersk pickup point is a point of a local carrier with a Maersk code on top. Globe shows your customers the local carrier’s points and logo, and saves the Maersk code on the order.

What you need from Maersk
Section titled “What you need from Maersk”An app in the Maersk Developer Portal with the product E-Commerce Pick Up/Drop Off (PUDO). Maersk approves products manually. Until the approval comes through, Maersk rejects the key.
If your warehouse already books Maersk shipments through the API, ask whether their Maersk app has the PUDO product. You can use its Consumer Key and Secret.
Setting it up
Section titled “Setting it up”- In Globe, open Pickup points, click Add carrier and select Maersk.
- Enter the Consumer Key and Secret and click Test. Globe checks that Maersk accepts them and that the app has access to PUDO.
- Map the shipping methods your warehouse ships with Maersk.
- Under Restrict point types, pick the local networks to show, for example only Bring in Sweden. If two shipping methods in one country need different networks, add Maersk twice.
- Leave the Maersk preset in Order attributes, or add the fields your warehouse reads. See Order attributes.
What your customers see
Section titled “What your customers see”The point name, address, opening hours, distance and the local carrier’s logo (Bring, Hermes, Posti, …). Maersk is not shown.
What is saved on the order
Section titled “What is saved on the order”With the Maersk preset, the order gets these attributes:
| Attribute | Value |
|---|---|
PickupPointId | Maersk code, e.g. MSKDK9aa5a294bc37 |
PickupPointName | Point name |
PickupPointAddress, PickupPointCity, PickupPointPostCode | Point address |
PickupPointCourier | Local carrier, e.g. Bring |
The point metafield has the Maersk code in id, Maersk’s carrier name in special.carrier (e.g. HermesGermany), a readable name in special.carrierName (e.g. Hermes) and the local carrier’s own point ID in special.code. providerName is Maersk, so in customer emails use special.carrierName instead.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- “Maersk did not accept these credentials”: the app is still waiting for Maersk’s approval, or the key or secret was copied incorrectly. Check the app in the Maersk Developer Portal under My Apps.
- “This Maersk app has no access to E-Commerce Pick Up/Drop Off (PUDO)”: add the product to the app and wait for the approval.
- A point the customer knows is missing: Globe shows only points Maersk marks as active. When a local carrier gives a shop a new ID, Maersk can list it as inactive for a while.
