DPD Polska API

Esta página aún no está disponible en tu idioma.

Globe Pickup Points integrates with DPD Polska through the DPDServices API. With this integration, you can:

  • Export orders to DPD Polska directly from Shopify
  • Print 10x15 cm or A4 shipping labels within Shopify
  • Ship to the customer’s address or to the DPD pickup point selected at checkout
  • Collect cash on delivery in PLN, EUR, RON or CZK

  1. In your Shopify admin, open Globe Pickup Points and navigate to Shipping labels. Click Add carrier, choose DPD and select Poland. For DPD accounts in other countries, see DPD API.
  2. Enter your Login and Password for the DPD Polska API. DPD Polska sets them up after you agree on API access with your account manager. You can also request access through the IT solutions form on dpd.com/pl (topic “Udzielenie dostępu do API”).
  3. Enter your FID number. It is your DPD Polska customer number and is also used as the payer of every parcel. Enter digits only.
  4. Choose the Environment. Use Production for real shipments. Development connects to the DPD Polska demo environment.
  5. Fill in the sender address: Sender company name, Sender street, Sender city, Sender ZIP, Sender phone and Sender email. Sender name is optional. The sender address is printed on every label, and the sender country is always Poland. You can enter the postcode with or without the dash.
  6. Optionally, click Show advanced settings and set a Default weight (kg). It is used when an order has no weight.
  7. Configure fulfillment and tagging options as needed:
    • Automatically fulfill orders: Never, Yes, send order shipped email with the tracking number or Yes, do not send order shipped email.
    • Automatically tag orders with tracking number adds the DPD Polska parcel number as an order tag.
    • Custom tag after export adds your own tag to each order after a successful export.
  8. Map your Shopify shipping methods for Poland to a DPD Polska service type. The mapping is optional. You can change the service type for each order when you create the label.

You can export orders to DPD Polska and print shipping labels directly from Shopify, either in bulk or individually. See Creating shipping labels for the full workflow.

Each label is one DPD Polska parcel. The parcel number is the tracking number, and the tracking link is https://tracktrace.dpd.com.pl/parcelDetails?typ=1&p1=<parcel number>. When Globe fulfills the order, the fulfillment carrier is DPD. Delivery statuses are not synced back to Shopify.

The parcel weight comes from the order. If the order has no weight, the Default weight (kg) is used. If neither is set, the order is not exported. The Shopify order name is sent as the parcel reference (ref1).

Parcels cannot be cancelled from Globe, because the DPD Polska API has no way to cancel a parcel. Creating the label for the same order again creates a second parcel.

Choose the service type when you create the label, or map it to a shipping method in the carrier settings.

Service typeDelivery
DPD (pickup point if selected, otherwise address)To the DPD pickup point the customer selected at checkout. An order without a pickup point goes to the shipping address. Also used when no service type is set.
DPD Classic (address)Always to the shipping address. A pickup point on the order is ignored.
DPD Pickup (pickup point)To the DPD pickup point on the order. An order without a pickup point is refused.

With DPD (pickup point if selected, otherwise address) and DPD Pickup (pickup point), an order whose pickup point DPD Polska cannot deliver to is refused. It is never shipped to the customer’s address instead. See DPD Pickup points.

If you choose DPD Classic (address) for an order with a DPD pickup point, the label panel warns you that the parcel will go to the customer’s address, not to the point.

Pickup point parcels go to the DPD point the customer selected in the Globe pickup point selector at checkout. Globe sends the point ID (for example PL14509) and the recipient’s name, phone number and email. The recipient’s street address is not sent.

Only DPD pickup points are accepted. An order with a point from another network, for example an InPost locker, is refused. So is an order with a DPD point that has no point ID. In both cases, choose a DPD point with the Modify pickup point action, or create the label with DPD Classic (address).

DPD Polska collects cash on delivery in PLN, EUR, RON and CZK. When an order uses a cash on delivery payment method, Globe sends the order’s outstanding amount as COD, in the order’s currency, with two decimals. You can change the amount in the COD amount field of the label panel.

An order with COD in any other currency is refused before anything is sent to DPD Polska.

DPD Polska labels are printed as PDF in one of two formats:

FormatDescription
10x15 cmOne label per page, for label printers
A4Four labels per A4 page

Printing always starts at the first position on the sheet, so partially used A4 sheets cannot be reused.

A batch can mix parcels within Poland and parcels to other countries. The labels are printed in the order you selected the orders. If Globe cannot arrange a mixed batch on A4, the labels are printed at their original size of 10x15 cm and the print page shows a warning.
