DPD API

Globe Pickup Points integrates with DPD, enabling seamless order management and parcel shipping directly from Shopify. With this integration, you can:

• Send your orders to your DPD portal
• Print shipping labels within Shopify

Enabling DPD API integration

1. In your Shopify admin, open Globe Pickup Points and add or edit your DPD provider.
2. Enter your API credentials from DPD.
3. Configure export and fulfillment options as needed.
4. Map your Shopify shipping methods to DPD.

Exporting and printing labels

You can export orders to DPD and print shipping labels directly from Shopify, either in bulk or individually. The process is streamlined for both order management and label generation.

Service types

DPD supports various domestic and international service types, including pickup point and home delivery. You can select the appropriate type during export based on your needs.

Shipment visibility in DPD portals

DPD operates two separate customer portals, so it is important to know where to look for your shipments:

• DPD Shipping — a tool for creating shipments and labels manually. Shipments created via the API (i.e. by Globe) do not appear here.
• DPD Business — a dashboard with an overview of all your shipments, including those created by Globe.

Shipments appear in DPD Business only after courier pickup

Shipments created through Globe show up in the DPD Business portal only once the courier scans the parcel at pickup. Between label creation and pickup, the shipment is not visible in any DPD portal. To verify that a label was created correctly, use the shipping labels overview directly in Globe.

If you do not have access to the DPD Business portal, ask your DPD sales representative to set it up for you.
