ORLEN Paczka API
Globe Pickup Points integrates with ORLEN Paczka, a Polish parcel carrier that delivers to its own pickup points and parcel lockers. With this integration, you can:
- Export orders to ORLEN Paczka directly from Shopify
- Print shipping labels within Shopify
- Ship to ORLEN Paczka pickup points and parcel lockers in Poland
- Track parcels using the ORLEN Paczka tracking page
Enabling ORLEN Paczka API integration
Section titled “Enabling ORLEN Paczka API integration”You need an ORLEN Paczka account with a signed agreement: parcels cannot be sent from a PREPAID account.
- In your Shopify admin, open Globe Pickup Points and navigate to Shipping labels. Click Add carrier and select ORLEN Paczka.
- Enter your Partner ID and Partner Key. ORLEN Paczka emails both when your agreement is activated. If you don’t have them, ask your ORLEN Paczka account manager. The Partner Key is the same as your WebTrucker password, so if you change the password in WebTrucker, update it in Globe too.
- Select the Environment: Production for real parcels, or Development for the ORLEN Paczka test API.
- Fill in the sender details: Sender company name, Sender street, Sender house number, Sender city, Sender ZIP, Sender phone and Sender email. The sender address is printed on every label.
- Sender ZIP is a five-digit Polish postcode (
NN-NNN, the dash is optional). - Sender phone is a Polish number with 9 digits, with or without
+48. - Sender flat number is optional. It is printed after the house number (
12/4) and takes up to 10 characters. - Longer values are shortened: the company name to 70 characters, the street and city to 30 and the house number to 10.
- Sender ZIP is a five-digit Polish postcode (
- Configure fulfillment and tagging options as needed:
- Automatically fulfill orders: Never, Yes, send order shipped email with the tracking number or Yes, do not send order shipped email. When enabled, the order is fulfilled after export with the parcel number as the tracking number, ORLEN Paczka as the carrier and a link to the tracking page.
- Automatically tag orders with tracking number adds the parcel number as an order tag.
- Custom tag after export and Custom tag after print add your own tag after every successful export or print.
- Under Shipping methods, map your pickup point shipping methods to ORLEN Paczka parcel sizes. You can change the size for each order when you create the label.
Exporting and printing labels
Section titled “Exporting and printing labels”You can export orders to ORLEN Paczka and print shipping labels directly from Shopify, either in bulk or individually. For the label workflow itself, see Creating shipping labels.
Exporting an order creates one parcel at ORLEN Paczka. Its parcel number is used as the tracking number, and parcels are tracked at https://www.orlenpaczka.pl/sledz-paczke/?numer=<parcel number>. The Shopify order number is printed on each label.
Labels are downloaded from ORLEN Paczka each time you print, in the format you choose, so a label can be printed again later.
The integration does not sync delivery statuses back to Shopify.
Parcel sizes
Section titled “Parcel sizes”Select the parcel size that matches the package when you map a shipping method or create a label:
| Size | Label in Globe |
|---|---|
| S | S (8 x 38 x 60 cm) |
| M | M (19 x 38 x 60 cm) |
| L | L (41 x 38 x 60 cm) |
Every size takes parcels up to 20 kg. Globe checks the shipment weight and does not export an order over 20 kg.
Pickup points and lockers only
Section titled “Pickup points and lockers only”ORLEN Paczka delivers only to its own pickup points and parcel lockers, and there is no home delivery. Every order needs an ORLEN Paczka pickup point, which the customer selects at checkout. To offer the points, see Adding pickup point carriers.
Globe sends the point as its numeric ORLEN Paczka point ID in the universal code format XX-<point ID>-00-00. ORLEN Paczka resolves this code to the point even after the point’s full code (for example WS-116263-C3-01) has changed.
An order without an ORLEN Paczka point, including one with a point from another carrier’s network, is not exported.
Cash on delivery (COD)
Section titled “Cash on delivery (COD)”ORLEN Paczka does not support cash on delivery. ORLEN Paczka switched COD off on 2 January 2025, and Globe never sends a COD amount. The label panel flags an order with a COD amount under Check before export, and the export refuses it, because the parcel would be released without collecting the money. Set the COD amount in the label panel to 0, or ship the order with another carrier.
Insurance is not available either: ORLEN Paczka switched it off on 4 December 2024, and Globe sends no insurance or parcel value.
Label printing
Section titled “Label printing”ORLEN Paczka labels can be printed in the following formats:
| Format | Positions per sheet |
|---|---|
| 10x14 cm | 1 |
| 10x10 cm | 1 |
10x14 cm is the default. It fits A6 sheets and 100x150 mm thermal labels. There is no A4 format. You can change the default in Default print option in the carrier settings.
Labels for several orders are combined into one PDF. A parcel that cannot be printed, for example because it was cancelled, is left out, and the other labels still print.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”| Issue | Resolution |
|---|---|
ORLEN Paczka Partner ID and Partner Key are not set | Enter both in the carrier settings. |
ORLEN Paczka sender address is incomplete | The message lists the missing or invalid values. No order in the batch is exported until you fix them in the carrier settings. Sender ZIP needs five digits and Sender phone a Polish number with 9 digits. |
Order … has no ORLEN Paczka pickup point | The order has no pickup point, or its point belongs to another carrier’s network. Check the order’s pickup point (see where it is stored), ask the customer for an ORLEN Paczka point or select one, then export again. |
ORLEN Paczka has no cash on delivery | Set the COD amount in the label panel to 0, or use another carrier. See Cash on delivery (COD). |
ORLEN Paczka takes parcels up to 20 kg in every size | If the weight is wrong, correct Shipment weight (kg) in the label panel. Otherwise ship the order with another carrier. |
ORLEN Paczka needs the recipient's Polish phone number (9 digits) | ORLEN Paczka sends the pickup notification to a Polish phone number. Add the customer’s Polish number (9 digits, with or without +48) to the order’s shipping address and export again. |
this account has no signed agreement (PREPAID) | Parcels cannot be sent from an ORLEN Paczka account without a signed agreement. Contact your ORLEN Paczka account manager. Globe tries to cancel the parcel ORLEN Paczka created for the order. |
… the parcel may already exist | ORLEN Paczka did not confirm the parcel, for example after a time-out or a broken connection, but it may have created it. Globe does not retry on its own. Check your ORLEN Paczka account before you export the order again. |
ORLEN Paczka created parcel … but Globe could not save it | The parcel exists at ORLEN Paczka, but Globe cannot print its label, and the order was not fulfilled or tagged. Do not export the order again, as ORLEN Paczka would create a second parcel. Get the label from ORLEN Paczka, or have ORLEN Paczka cancel the parcel first. |
ORLEN Paczka: with another reason | ORLEN Paczka refused the parcel, and the text after the colon is its reason. Fix the cause and export the order again. |
| Labels do not print | ORLEN Paczka returned no label, for example because of a credentials problem or a temporary error on its side. Check the Partner ID and Partner Key, or print again later. |
| A label is missing from the PDF | The parcel was cancelled, ORLEN Paczka cannot find it, or it belongs to another ORLEN Paczka account. Globe leaves it out and prints the other labels. |
