Zaslat API
Globe Pickup Points integrates with Zaslat (Zaslat.cz), a Czech shipping aggregator, through the Zaslat API v1. Zaslat books each parcel with one of its carriers, on your Zaslat account and at your Zaslat prices. With this integration, you can:
- Export orders to Zaslat directly from Shopify
- Print shipping labels within Shopify, in A6 or as A6 labels on A4
- Ship to Zásilkovna, Balíkovna, PPL, DPD, GLS and One by Allegro pickup points in Czechia and Slovakia
- Ship to the customer’s address with PPL, DPD, GLS, GLS Slovakia, Zásilkovna, One by Allegro, UPS, FedEx, TopTrans or SPS
- Send cash on delivery (COD) parcels from Czechia to Czechia and Slovakia
- Track parcels on Zaslat’s or the carrier’s tracking page
For your own contract with one of these carriers, see its page, for example PPL CZ API, DPD API or MyGLS API.
Enabling Zaslat API integration
Section titled “Enabling Zaslat API integration”You need your own Zaslat account and its API key. Zaslat books every label on your account at your prices.
-
In your Shopify admin, open Globe Pickup Points and navigate to Shipping labels. Click Add carrier and select Zaslat.
-
Enter your API key. Zaslat shows it in the Zaslat shipment manager under Nastavení, Integrace, Napojení pomocí API.
-
Select the Environment: Production books real shipments. Development uses Zaslat’s test system and works only with a key from app-test.zaslat.cz. Its labels are placeholders.
-
Select How you pay Zaslat:
- Prepaid credit: Zaslat takes the price from the credit on your account. Top it up in Zaslat under Nastavení, Kredit.
- Invoice (contract with Zaslat): for customers with an invoice contract with Zaslat.
Globe never uses Zaslat’s online payment.
-
Select How Zaslat gets your parcels: I take them to a branch or box, Courier pickup at my address or Collection from my Zaslat pickup address. See How Zaslat gets your parcels.
-
Select the Carrier for orders without a pickup point: PPL, DPD, GLS, GLS Slovakia, Zásilkovna (home delivery), One by Allegro (WE|DO), UPS, FedEx, TopTrans or SPS (Slovak Parcel Service). The AUTO product, Zaslat (carrier of the pickup point if selected, otherwise the default carrier to the address), sends orders without a pickup point to the customer’s address with this carrier.
-
Enter the Default length in millimeters, Default width in millimeters and Default height in millimeters. Zaslat needs the dimensions for every parcel and checks them against the box of a pickup point.
-
Set the sender:
- Zaslat contact ID of the sender (optional): the ID of a contact in your Zaslat address book, or of your Zaslat pickup address. With an ID, Zaslat uses the data of that contact and the sender address fields can stay empty.
- Sender country: Czechia or Slovakia, the country you send from.
- Without a contact ID, fill in all sender fields: Sender company name or Sender name, Sender street, Sender city, Sender ZIP, Sender phone and Sender email. Sender street takes the street and house number in one line, for example
Jindřišská 12/1027. Sender email takes up to 50 characters.
-
For cash on delivery, optionally enter the Bank account for cash on delivery (CZK) and the IBAN for cash on delivery in EUR. See Cash on delivery (COD).
-
Optionally, click Show advanced settings:
- EORI number: sent with the customs data of parcels leaving the EU.
- Default weight (kg): used when an order has no weight.
-
Configure fulfillment and tagging options as needed:
- Automatically fulfill orders: Never, Yes, send order shipped email with the tracking number or Yes, do not send order shipped email. When enabled, the order is fulfilled after export with the tracking number and link described in Exporting and printing labels.
- Automatically tag orders with tracking number adds Zaslat’s shipment number (
IZ…) as an order tag. - Custom tag after export adds your own tag after every successful export.
-
Map your Shopify shipping methods for Czechia and Slovakia to a Zaslat product. The mapping is optional. You can change the product for each order when you create the label.

A pickup point product needs a point of its own network: an order without one, or with a point of another network, is refused. An address product goes to the customer’s address, also when the order has a pickup point.
The carriers and routes you can use depend on the offers in your Zaslat account. Zaslat refuses a shipment it has no price for.
How Zaslat gets your parcels
Section titled “How Zaslat gets your parcels”The How Zaslat gets your parcels setting decides how Zaslat books the parcel. With some carriers and settings the courier brings its own label when collecting the parcel, so Globe has no label to print. Globe refuses those orders before it creates anything:
| Carrier | I take them to a branch or box | Courier pickup at my address | Collection from my Zaslat pickup address |
|---|---|---|---|
| PPL | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| DPD, GLS, GLS Slovakia, One by Allegro, SPS | Yes | Refused: the courier brings its own label | Yes |
| Zásilkovna | Yes | Booked as dropped off at a branch | Yes |
| Balíkovna | Yes | Booked as dropped off at a branch | Booked as dropped off at a branch |
| UPS, FedEx | Refused: Zaslat does not offer it | Yes | Yes |
| TopTrans | Refused: Zaslat does not offer it | Refused: the courier brings its own label | Yes |
Collection from my Zaslat pickup address needs Invoice (contract with Zaslat) in How you pay Zaslat and your pickup address ID in Zaslat contact ID of the sender. Zaslat shows the ID next to the pickup address under Svozy, Svozové adresy.
If Zaslat still reports after the export that the courier brings the label, or that it could not get the label from the carrier, Globe cancels the shipment and the order fails.
Exporting and printing labels
Section titled “Exporting and printing labels”You can export orders to Zaslat and print shipping labels directly from Shopify, either in bulk or individually. For the label workflow itself, see Creating shipping labels.
Globe checks the API key with Zaslat before the first order of a batch. If Zaslat refuses the key, nothing is created.
Exporting an order creates one Zaslat shipment with one parcel. The Shopify order name is the shipment reference. Zaslat gives the shipment its own number, starting with IZ. Globe then reads the shipment from Zaslat for up to about 20 seconds:
- If Zaslat already has the carrier’s parcel number, the order is fulfilled with that number, the carrier’s name and the carrier’s tracking page.
- Otherwise the order is fulfilled with the IZ number, Zaslat as the carrier and
https://www.zaslat.cz/sledovani-zasilek/<IZ number>, Zaslat’s tracking page. It shows the carrier’s number and events.
The parcel weight comes from the order. If the order has no weight, the Default weight (kg) is used. If neither is set, the order is not exported. Globe rounds the weight up to 0.01 kg. The parcel dimensions are the default length, width and height from the settings, rounded up to whole centimetres.
Zaslat needs the receiver’s name or company, and a phone number or an e-mail address. An e-mail address longer than 50 characters is left out.
The orders of a batch go to Zaslat one after another. If Globe cannot tell whether Zaslat created a shipment, for example because Zaslat did not answer in time, the error asks you to check the Zaslat shipment manager (app.zaslat.cz) before you create the label again. Globe then stops before the next order of the batch. The orders it did not send can be exported again safely.
When Zaslat cannot charge a shipment, for example because the prepaid credit does not cover it, it refuses the shipment without a reason and keeps it as unpaid. Globe looks it up by the order name and cancels it. Top up the credit in Zaslat (Nastavení, Kredit), or choose Invoice (contract with Zaslat) if Zaslat invoices you, and create the label again.
Globe does not cancel Zaslat shipments on request. Creating the label for the same order again creates a second shipment. Cancel shipments in the Zaslat shipment manager.
The integration does not sync delivery statuses back to Shopify.
Pickup points
Section titled “Pickup points”Globe sends the ID of the point the customer picked in checkout to Zaslat as the point code. To offer these points, see Adding pickup point carriers. Zaslat delivers to points of these networks:
| Network | Countries |
|---|---|
| Zásilkovna (Packeta) points and Z-BOXes | Czechia, Slovakia |
| PPL ParcelShops and ParcelBoxes | Czechia, Slovakia |
| DPD Pickup points and boxes | Czechia, Slovakia |
| GLS ParcelShops and ParcelLockers | Czechia, Slovakia (Slovak points go with GLS Slovakia) |
| Balíkovna points and boxes | Czechia |
| One by Allegro (WE|DO) points and boxes | Czechia |
An order with a point of another network, a Packeta point of a partner carrier, or a point outside Czechia and Slovakia is not exported. It is never shipped to the customer’s address instead. Globe flags it before export. Choose another point with the Modify pickup point action, or use an address product.
Zaslat checks the point against its own point list and refuses a point it does not know. Choose another point with the Modify pickup point action.
Zaslat needs the receiver’s street, city and postcode on point parcels too. Globe sends the customer’s address when it is in the point’s country, otherwise the point’s own address.
Cash on delivery (COD)
Section titled “Cash on delivery (COD)”Zaslat collects cash on delivery only for parcels sent from Czechia:
| Route | Currency |
|---|---|
| Czechia to Czechia | CZK |
| Czechia to Slovakia | CZK or EUR |
The amount is the COD amount from the label panel. CZK amounts are rounded to whole crowns. The minimum is 30 CZK or 1 EUR. The digits of the order number, up to 10, are the variable symbol.
Zaslat pays CZK out to the Bank account for cash on delivery (CZK), written as 123-4567890/0100 or as an IBAN. It pays EUR out to the IBAN for cash on delivery in EUR. If a field is empty, Zaslat uses the account saved in Zaslat (Nastavení, Účet).
An order with COD on another route or in another currency is not exported, and Globe flags it before export. Set the COD amount to 0 if the order is already paid, or ship the order with another carrier. See also Cash on delivery.
Parcels leaving the EU
Section titled “Parcels leaving the EU”An address parcel to a country outside the EU customs union carries a customs declaration for commercial goods, with the invoice created by Zaslat. Globe lists each shipped line item with its name, quantity, unit price, country of origin and HS code from Shopify. A product without a country of origin gets the Sender country. An HS code is sent when it has at least 6 digits. The order currency must be CZK, EUR or USD. The EORI number is sent with the customs data when it is set.
Label printing
Section titled “Label printing”Zaslat labels can be printed in the following formats:
| Format | Labels |
|---|---|
| Label printer, 10x15 cm (A6) | One label per page |
| A6 on A4 | Four labels per A4 sheet |
When printing A6 labels on A4, you can select the starting position on the sheet (positions 1–4) to reuse partially used sheets. Zaslat prints FedEx labels on A4 in either format.
Globe fetches the labels from Zaslat when you print and combines several orders into one PDF. A label exists once Zaslat has handed the shipment to the carrier, usually within minutes of the export. Until then, print it again a few minutes later. If some labels are missing, Globe prints the others and names the missing shipments.
