Effitr@ce (Effitrace)
Effitr@ce (Effitrace), the WMS by Effisys, imports your Shopify orders and decides the carrier for each parcel from two things: the shipping method name on the order and the data the official carrier apps (Mondial Relay, Chronopost, Colissimo) leave on it. Globe can write both, so Effitr@ce reads orders with Globe relay points like any other order. The same applies to any warehouse or 3PL system built on the official apps’ format.
What Effitr@ce reads
Section titled “What Effitr@ce reads”| Carrier | Data on the order | How it’s set in Globe |
|---|---|---|
| Mondial Relay | Order attributes mondial_relay_id, mondial_relay_name, mondial_relay_address, mondial_relay_city, mondial_relay_zip, mondial_relay_country, mondial_relay_liv | Order attributes preset Mondial Relay |
| Chronopost | Metafield order.chronopost-relay-id (point ID, e.g. 2131V) and order.chronopost-pickup-name | Save the pickup point like the official Chronopost app |
| Colissimo | Metafield Colissimo.service (JSON with service_code A2P or BPR, pickup_id, point name and address, the buyer’s name and phone) | Save the pickup point like the official Colissimo app |
Mondial Relay needs no particular shipping method name. For Chronopost and Colissimo, Effitr@ce looks for the name it has mapped in its custom module (module sur mesure), for example Chronopost - Livraison en relais Pickup or Livraison en point relais - Colissimo.
Setting it up in Globe
Section titled “Setting it up in Globe”For each carrier, open Pickup points, open the carrier and scroll to Post-order processing.
Mondial Relay
- Turn on Create order attributes.
- Check that the attributes are the
mondial_relay_*ones above. A new Mondial Relay carrier starts with them; if yours shows other keys, click Load from template and pick Mondial Relay. See Order attributes.
Chronopost and Colissimo
- Turn on Save the pickup point like the official Chronopost app (or Colissimo app).
- If the carrier shares its shipping rate with other carriers, turn on Rename the shipping method on the order and enter the name Effitr@ce expects in Shipping method name on the order. If the carrier has its own rate, name that rate in Shopify the way Effitr@ce expects and leave the renaming off.
- Save.
Setting it up in Effitr@ce
Section titled “Setting it up in Effitr@ce”- In the custom module (module sur mesure), map each shipping method name to your Effitr@ce carrier code.
- Ask Effitr@ce support to import your orders a few minutes after they are created (see Timing).
- Place a test order per carrier and check the carrier and relay point Effitr@ce imported.
One rate for several carriers
Section titled “One rate for several carriers”A single “Point relais” rate can show Mondial Relay, Chronopost and Colissimo on one map. Effitr@ce still needs a different shipping method name per carrier, so Globe renames the shipping line once the order is placed.
Shopify can’t rename an existing shipping line. Globe therefore replaces it through an order edit:
- The original line stays on the order, marked
is_removed: true. The new line carries the name you set and the codecustom. total_pricestill counts the original line, so shipping appears twice.current_total_priceis correct.- Shopify records the edit as a refund of 0 with no transaction.
Effitr@ce reads the new line. Check any other app that imports your orders (ERP, accounting, POS sync): it should read current_total_price and ignore refunds of 0 without a transaction. If it can’t, give each carrier its own rate and leave the renaming off: Globe then only adds the point data and never edits the order.
Timing
Section titled “Timing”Globe writes the metafields and the new shipping name within seconds of the order being created, usually under 30 seconds. If Effitr@ce imports the order earlier, it sees the original name and no relay point. Ask Effitr@ce support to import orders a few minutes after they are created; a delay of 3 minutes works.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- Effitr@ce reports the code
DOMon a Colissimo relay order: the official Colissimo app is still installed. It writesDOMto the sameColissimo.servicemetafield on every order that isn’t on its own rate, Globe orders included. Globe sets the right value again within a minute, but an import in between readsDOM. Once Globe shows your Colissimo points, uninstall the Colissimo app unless you need it for something else. - Effitr@ce gets the order without a carrier: the shipping method name on the order isn’t mapped in the custom module, or the order was imported before Globe renamed it.
- The order total is twice the shipping in another system: that system reads
total_price. See One rate for several carriers.
